Punjab Kings’ (PBKS) batting sensation Shahrukh Khan entertained the spectators with his big-hitting in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and domestic cricket for Tamil Nadu. However, only a few are aware that he is a big bollywood buff and fan of Hindi movies. Although he belongs to the south, yet he is equally fluent in Hindi. Shahrukh mimics Bollywood actors with ease and often acts famous dialogues in front of his colleagues. Also the actor is a big Salman Khan fan.
Walking on Treadmill, Shahrukh mimics Bollywood actors
Shahrukh while on treadmill walks like Dutt’s character in the film, Munnabhai and also mouthed the famous dialogues in his style, “Apun ko bhi thoda jaadu ki jhappi de na,” and “Kaha tha ki nahi, bhai ne bola karne ka toh karne ka.”
Shahrukh shines in IPL, Preity excited to have him
Although the world knows the name of Shahrukh, the actor, not many have heard about the Tamil Nadu’s cricketer. Sharukh Khan was picked up by Punjab Kings for Rs 9 crores. In what was arguably the funniest moment in the auction room, Punjab Kings (newly rebranded) co-owner Preity Zinta , one of Bollywood’s sex symbols celebrated the recruitment of the cricketer with a wide smile and the words “We got Shahrukh!” to go with it. Zinta and Khan, both part of ownership groups in the IPL, have starred in movies together of course.

Since his state’s triumph in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy recently, many franchises were seeking him. As the teams battled for various players, his team members celebrated his selection. At the moment Shahrukh is looking forward to playing with KL Rahul under the mentorship of Anil Kumble.
