India’s wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant went through horrific ordeal in December. He met with an accident on December 30 after his car collided with a divider. Pant was on his way home from Delhi when the accident happened. Cricketer shares his road to recovery post the accident.

Rishabh was on his way home from Delhi. Batsman has been discharged and is currently recuperating. He expressed his gratitude in a post on his Insta handle.

Rishabh Pant’s Mercedes-AMG GLE 43 4MATIC Coupe, hit the divider and caught fire last December. Luck was on his side as some good Samaritans pulled the cricketer out of his car and took him to the hospital. His vehicle was destroyed and he sustained serious injuries. Crash took place close to the Narsan border of Roorkee near Hammadpur Jhal. Cricketer later was shifted to Max Hospital, Dehradun for further tests and treatment. Max released an update on the cricketer’s injuries later. It revealed that Rishabh suffered two cuts on his forehead, a ligament tear in his right knee and injuries right wrist, ankle, and toe apart from abrasion injuries on his back. Also, later in the evening, normal MRI of the brain and spine bought relief to the cricketer’s fans. Additionally, he underwent plastic surgery to manage his facial injuries, lacerated wounds and abrasions.
Rishabh Pant’s Recovery Journey might keep him out of playing this year
After undergoing surgeries and therapy, the cricketer is recovering at home. Although, sitting at home for an active person is tough, the cricketer Rishabh Pant’s recovery journey has a different prospective. He considers sitting out and breathing fresh air a blessing. The attacking batsman would miss the World Cup set to take place at the end of the year due to the injuries he suffered in the crash.
