India begins their first of the three ODI series campaign against New Zealand today. Venue of the match is at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.

India and New Zealand clash in Hyderabad for the first OneDay International. Both teams are currently riding high on their recent wins respectively. While India whitewashed Sri Lanka 3-0 in ODI’s, New Zealand reigned supreme over Pakistan 2-1. India has a great record on the home ground and the team shall look forward to repeating the same this time. India vs New Zealand shall be a heavily contested game, for the Kiwis are fresh from beating Pakistan on their home ground. On the other hand, the home team under Rohit Sharma shall aim for a clean sweep. Consequently, it shall lead the team to the top of the table of ICC rankings. However, KL Rahul and Axar Patel are missing from the team citing personal reasons. From the Kiwis side, skipper Kane Williamson and Tim Southee are rested for the series.
