PV Sindhu reaches semifinals with an easy victory over her Thai Opponent.Top Indian shuttler and PV Sindhu won her quarterfinals against Thailand’s Busanan Ongbamrungphan.The third seeded won easily 21-10 21-16 to reach semifinals of Korean Open 2022.She now meets the second seeded Swiss Open winner Korean An Se-Young in the semifinals. Sindhu has lost to the Korean in all her previous 3 meetings.

Sindhu did not face any resistance and defeated Busanan in straight games. After trailing the first game 2-5,she tightened the grip throughout the match.Subsequently, she led 11-7 and produced consecutive 8 points to seal the game. Also,she continued the momentum in the second game and the Thai yielded under pressure.Consequently, Sindhu notched her 17th win over her opponent.Currently, Sindhu’s semifinal match against the Korean is underway where she has lost the first game 14-21.
