Gujarat Titans triumph the Rajasthan Royals in the TATA IPL 2022,lift their maiden title
Yesterday the IPL 2022 concluded with the match of Gujarat vs Rajasthan. Gujarat beat Rajasthan in the finals of the IPL2022. While Rajasthan Royals after winning the toss could manage only 130/9 in the stipulated 20 overs, Gujarat Titans reached the finish line with a six. For the Titans the batters Shubman Gill and skipper Hardik scored 45 not out and 34 respectively. Hardik Pandya contributed with the bowl as he took three wickets for just seventeen runs. His fellow teammate Sai Kishore too contributed with two wickets for twenty runs.

There could not have been a better finishing than this for Hardik Pandya. The skipper concluded his dream run at the IPL 2022 with an all-around performance with both the bat and the ball during the finals of IPL 2022 . It was Hardik best bowling figures of the IPL. Chasing the target of 130, Gujarat lost Wriddhiman Saha in the second over itself. However Shubman Gill carried the match forward and remained unbeaten on 45. Additionally the s and David Miller contributed with his valuable 32 runs of mere 19 balls. In the Gujarat vs Rajasthan match the home side bowled a tight spell to keep Rajasthan to a low score. Lockie Ferguson bowled the fastest ball with a wide yorker. Rashid Khan was economical as he did not concede a single boundary in the first two overs. Also Gujarat kept Rajasthan in control with a tight power play.
Samson failed as he tried to take charge but fell due to misjudgment
Samson tried to maintain the fallen innings but gave his wicked due to misjudgments of Hardik’s bowling. Rajasthan’s skipper hammered Devdutt Padikkal, before falling prey to Hardik’s delivery. Also Pandya’s delivery worked its magic when Buttler nicked behind to keeper Wriddhiman Saha. The fall continued before Rajasthan’s players Riyan Parag and Obed McCoy produced a boundary each to take Rajasthan to 130 before being dismissed in the final over off Shami.
Gujarat’s Chase
Although the total was less, a slow and dry pitch did not make it easy. With a variable pitch Prasidh Krishna’s quick inswinger bowled Saha giving Gujarat only 31 runs with two wickets down. Additionally Trent Boult caught Mathew Wade. After initial jitters Shubman Gill who was dropped on the fourth ball got another life when they missed a catch. The opener finished his innings in style with a massive six off the bowling of McCoy making Gujarat IPL 2022 champions. Although Gujarat vs Rajasthan was a low scoring match, it had some brief exciting moments.
