But Mooney on the other hand held her ground and continued her assault. but the dismissal of the Australian skipper handed the Indian bowlers a much-needed opening in the match. The Aussies held the ground and looked to be posting a great total before Deepti Sharma sensational catch sent Beth Home.

Indian Bowlers accurate bowling restricted the Aussies total

Before Deepti Sharma’s stunning catch, Australia was all set to post a heavy total. Both Beth and Lanning were planning to set a heavy total. However after the dismissal of Lanning and Beth, the wickets fell at regular intervals. After them the Australian lower ordered crumbled under pressure. Ashleigh Gardner scored 25 off just 15 deliveries and was followed by Rachael Haynes’ 18 off 10 deliveries as Australia posted a challenging total of 161 runs.
