However, she is all set to make a comeback with a thriller web series, Tiwari: ‘An emotional mother-daughter story’. An action-packed exciting web-series, she will also perform some action sequences. In other words, the series is full-on entertainment and has abundant chills and thrills. In the web series Tiwari, Urmila plays the main role. Recently the makers of the show, Content Engineers shared Urmilla starrer post. Urmilla Matondkar’s comeback looks seem captivating.
Her rugged looks are revealed from the poster itself. It shows the actress in a bruised state. Recently the actress opened up on her excitement of playing the role.
“This one offered me characters and a story arc that is challenging as a performer and things that I haven’t attempted so far. Written and created by a team of young writers, the team managed to keep me hooked till the end while narrating it. What I liked the most in the story is that at the core, it’s an emotional mother-daughter story but at the same time it has everything from drama to action to some thrilling twists and turns. I can’t wait to start shooting.”

Urmila Matondkar’s comeback web series is a mother-daughter emotional story. She has prepared rigorously for the last six months, practicing the action sequences. In the poster, Urmila is reflected with a worn-out look, injury marks on her body and white cloth tied to her hand. Recently the director Saurabh Varma revealed his experience on Urmila’s performance.
“The kind of varied graph Tiwari aka Urmila’s character has in the show, we really couldn’t think of anyone else but Urmila. As a filmmaker and as a studio, we intend to create clean entertaining content that can be watched with the whole family, globally. Tiwari is something that has been loved as a script by all age groups and fits the bill in totality.”

Web series Tiwari marks Urmila’s comeback after a long break. The actress has given many hits Satya, Ek Haseena Thi, Bhoot, Rangeela, Kaun and Pinjar, was last seen in Maine Gandhi Ko Nahin Mara (2005) with Anupam Kher. Now she has a couple of exciting projects lined up. Urmila will also be seen in Marathi movie Ti Me Navhech with Shreyas Talpade. Upcoming web series is in pre-production stage and the makers shall soon begin shooting. The official date of the web series is still awaited.
