Toolsidas Junior is Late Rajiv Kapoor’s swan song. Although the movie released in theatres on March 4, the Toolsidas Junior Netflix Release happened on Netflix on May 23. Recently Ranbir Kapoor featured in a video to promote his Chacha’s (Uncle’s) movie. Sanjay Kapoor shared the video on the Instagram and penned down his emotions ,”This is so so exciting my chimps film is coming on Netflix !

Ranbir recently featured in a new video to promote the late actor’s film. The movie aired on Netflix two days before. Late actor Rajiv Kapoor’s last film Toolsidas Junior is all set to premiere On Wednesday, actor Sanjay Kapoor shared a video featuring Ranbir Kapoor, who shared a close bond with his uncle Rajiv. In the video, Ranbir is seen playing pool with child actor Varun Buddhadev.
Toolsidas Junior: A story based on true events
The movie Toolsidas Junior revolves around a Snooker champion played by Rajiv. After losing an important match, he loses heart and decides to give up. His son takes the challenge to bring his father’s name to glory. In the movie Sanjay Dutt plays the part of a strange snooker coach. The film is true events inspired and is set in the backdrop of Calcutta. Rajiv kapoor plays the role of Toolsidas who is a top snooker player.
Toolsidas Junior: A Father Son bond
Toolsidas Junior is a story how a son brings it on himself to restore his father’s lost legacy. During Club Snooker Championship of 1994, Toolsidas tries to defeat the five-time champion Jimmy Tandon, played by Dalip Tahil. However, he loses the tournament in spite of promising his son a definite victory. Toolsidas Junior is a journey of Midi, the dedicated teenager, played by Varun Buddhadev, to become a professional club snooker player and restore his father’s legacy. He joins YMC Wellington club and searches for a coach after not being able to practice in the same club as his father due to his age. He meets former national Champion Mohd Salaam who takes on himself to mentor Midi.
Rajiv made a comeback into acting after 30 years
Rajiv Kapoor made an acting comeback after 30 years. It indeed was a special film by Ashutosh Gowariker and Bhushan Kumar’s Toolsidas Junior to mark his comeback which unfirtunately was his last.
