Referred to as the Slapgate controversy, Will Smith was banned from the Academy for a ten years. The Actor later apologized for his outburst on the stage On Wednesday’s episode of “Red Table Talk,” Jada Pinkett Smith hosted an emotional conversation on the hair loss condition Alopecia that causes hair loss. Will Smith slapped comedian Chris Rock at the Academy Awards. In the show Jada discusses Alopecia and chats with guests to hear the stories related with the disease.

Pinkett Smith gained limelight at the recently conducted Oscars. She also got trapped in the Slapgate Controversy during the Oscars, when Chris rock made fun of Jada’s hair loss condition Alopecia. As the three generations including Jada Pinkett Smith, her mother, Adrienne Banfield Norris and her daughter Willow Smith joined the show, there were guests who shared their personal experiences. Actress referring to the guests as her Alopecia family said that it was a platform to inform people what the condition is. In the show one of the guests revealed about her daughter’s suicide because she opened up about her daughter who committed suicide at the age 12. There were others who also discussed how their dear ones are dealing with the ailment.
Pinkett advices the sufferers to stay strong
Oscar star’s Will Smith wife addressed the hosts and added that they all needed to stay strong. It is now a known fact that Jada suffers from a hair loss condition Alopecia. Recently she came under the spotlight when Chris Rock made a joke about the actress baldness. Will Smith went on stage and slapped Rock to a disbelief of the audience. Later after Smith won the Oscar he apologized for his outrage. The Oscars issued a 10 year ban on Will Smith for the act.
