Popular TV actress Nishi Singh passed away yesterday after a prolonged illness. The actress became a household name for her role in ‘Qubool Hai’. TV actor Karanvir Bohra took to his Instagram handle to express his condolences and grief. He wrote,” Sad to hear this news,” #OmNamahshivay.” It has been known that the actress was battling health concerns since the last couple of years. The actress had suffered multiple paralytic strokes since the last few years and was since battling health problems.

After suffering three paralytic strokes, Nishi was not keeping good health. Her health woes continued to become worse over the years. After Nishi suffered two paralytic attacks in two years, he had asked for financial help in the year 2020. Nishi’s husband is a writer-actor by profession. Shattered and broken when Nishi Singh passed away, her husband opened up on her fight to survive
Sanjay said that his wife had suffered and battled hard to survive. However, she passed away at 3 PM on Sunday. Sanjay also opened up on his financial crisis due to the expenditure on his wife’s health. Heartbroken he revealed with following words.
“The biggest pain is that she was with me for 32 years. Even though she was not well, she was always there. Now I don’t have anyone to call a family except for our children. My daughter had also left her studies and skipped her board exams to take care of her mother while I also couldn’t take up any work as she always needed me by her side. We are dealing with a financial crisis and are not left with much.”

Sanjay admitted he received financial help from friends from the entertainment circle. Naming Ramesh Taurani, Gul Khan, and Surbhi Chandna and The Cine And TV Artistes’ Association (CINTAA), he said provided the timely help. However, he still had to sell his house and car to pay for the medical bills. And now he is left with negligible. Nishi acted in Qubool Hai as ‘Haseena Bi‘. She acted opposite to actors like Surbhi Jyoti and Karan Singh Grover in lead roles. Besides, Nishi Singh also acted in shows like Hitler Didi, Ishqbaaz, and Tenali Rama.
