Gunjan Sinha Won JDJ10: Gunjan And Partner Won Trophy and Prize Money

Guwahati’s Eight-year-old Gunjan Sinha took home the coveted trophy and prize money of Rs 20 Laks after she won the 10th season of the dance reality show ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.

‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10’, the show that premiered on September 3 included 15 celebrity contestants. Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit, filmmaker Karan Johar, and dancer-actress Nora Fatehi. judged the show, while Comedian Maniesh Paul hosted the show. The show concluded today, and Gunjan Sinha Won JDJ10. Besides winning the Trophy, she also received a cheque of Rs 20 Lakhs. In the end, five contestants were left namely Rubina Dilaik, Faisal Shaikh, Nishant Bhat, Gunjan Sinha and Sriti Jha and they competed with each other.

Following Elimination process five finalists were chosen, Gunjan Saxena Won JDJ10

All the five finalists competed against each other. Following the double elimination Sriti and Nishant were first evicted leaving the remaining three Gunjan, Faisal and Rubina. Gunjan was finally declared the winner by the judges. Although Gunjan won JDJ10, all the contestants presented their best performances. Bhediya’s lead Varun Dhawan and Kriti appeared as star guests. While Kriti and Madhuri tapped their feet to the ‘Lajja’ song ‘Badi Mushkil’, Salman Khan, recreated a scene with Madhuri from ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!’, their iconic film.

Besides JDJ10, Gunjan participated in ‘Dance Deewane Juniors’ also. She was all happy and expressed her emotions when asked how it felt.

“I am taking back a lot from the show. Many moments and memories will remain with me. My partner Tejas Verma and choreographer Sagar Bora kept inspiring me to perform well.”

The talented dancer from Guwahati considers Madhuri as her role model in dancing. She also added that she started from an early age of 5 and her favourite dance form always had been Hip Hop. Having won the show, she next wishes to carve a career out of the same.
