‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’, which is based on the life of famed ISRO scientist Narayanan
After roaring applause and a standing ovation at the recently concluded Cannes, the popularity of the movie echoed in Times Square. Time Square launches Rocketry making every Indian proud. Madhavan had written, produced, and directed the movie based on the life of an ISRO scientist, falsely accused of espionage. Looking at the launch one can easily feel the effort gone behind the movie. R Madhavan is making his directorial debut with the movie. Rocketry Trailer touches on the series of events that led to the accusation and gradually his clearing of the charges. Currently, Madhavan and Nambi Naryanan are on a 12-day promotional tour. Madhavan and Nambi Narayanan promoted the film in Stafford, Texas. In honor of the scientist, Mayor Cecil Willis declared June 3 as the Nambi Narayanan Day.
Time Square Launches Rocketry, saying the response is Surreal
R Madhavan said that he was humbled looking at the movie response at an International level. Talking about the launch of the trailer in Times Square, “It is all very surreal! Time has gone by so quickly – it feels like it was only yesterday we were shooting the film and now, here we are, a few days away from the film’s release, screening the trailer on the world’s most coveted billboard! With God’s grace, I’m thankful for all the love and affection we have received so far. We are looking forward to seeing you in the theatres on July 1st!” Besides the actor shared a peek of the trailer launch, where people received it with the world hooting and cheering. The team also met astronaut Sunita Williams and interacted with her during their visit to Texas.
Movie Release Date and Cast
Rocketry: The Nambi Effect is set to release on July 1st, 2022. The movie stars Phyllis Logan, Vincent Riotta, Ron Donachie, Simran, Rajit Kapur, Ravi Raghavendra, Misha Ghoshal, Gulshan Grover, Karthik Kumar, and Dinesh Prabhakar. There will be special appearances of superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Suriya. It has been shot in India, Franc, Canada, Georgia, and Serbia. It will be out in several languages including Hindi, Tamil, and English. (ANI)
