Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul recently moved together to their new home in Bandra, Mumbai. Reports had revealed earlier that the home was getting constructed. Now that the house is all done, the couple has moved in together. While Rahul is still in Harare, Athiya is making plans to set the couple’s new home. Athiya has since then shifted and awaiting the return of Rahul. At an event reporters asked Athiya’s dad-actor Suniel Shetty’s reaction about his daughters wedding news. His reaction was nothing but a mystery. Without revealing the day or the date, he had this to say.

“She is a daughter, she will get married sometime. I’d want my son also to get married. The sooner the better! But it’s their choice. As far as Rahul is concerned, I love the boy. It’s for them to decide what they want to do, because times have changed. I’d like them to take the decision. My blessings are always there.”

Suniel Shetty’s Reaction, Actor attributes Rahul’s busy schedule for the delay
When reporters enquired the Border actor Suniel Shetty about his daughter’s marriage with Rahul, he had this to say. According to the actor the cricketer’s busy schedule is the reason for the delay in marriage. Also he added that the couple cannot be married in the two days between matches. Thus when a reporter asked him about the wedding he came up with the following.
“I think jaise hi bachhe decide karenge (it will happen as soon as the kids decide). Rahul ke schedules hai. Abhi Asia Cup hai, World Cup hai, South African tour hai, Australia tour hai. Jab bachho ko break milega tab shaadi hogi.”“Ek din me shaadi nahi ho sakti na? (Rahul has busy schedules, Asia Cup, World Cup, South African tour, Australia tour. The wedding will happen only when the kids get a break. It can’t happen in a day, no)?”

Athiya Shetty’s father and actor Suniel Shetty revealed about Rahul’s busy schedule. He opened up to reporters that owing to that the wedding can’t happen in a single day. Although as a dad, he expected his daughter should get married, however Rahul too needed a break. Pointing at the Indian Vice Captain’s calendar, there is only a day’s break and marriage can’t happen in that time. So the marriage shall happen with planning. KL Rahul attended the premiere of Athiya Shetty brother’s movie Tadap.
