The news of Sonam’s delivery were doing rounds for a couple of days. A couple of days before there had been rumours of the actress’s delivery. But sooner they all came out as fake news. As soon as Sonam ‘Delivered a Boy, the proud parents shared the news to friends. It was indeed a proud moment for both Anil and Sunita as they became grandparents for the first time. Actress Neetu Kapoor who acted with Sonam’s father in the hit movie ‘Jug Jugg Jiyo’ shared her wishes to the proud grandparents Anil and Sunita Kapoor.
Also sharing a loving note on her stories she wrote,” On 20.08.2022, we welcomed our beautiful baby boy with bowed heads and hearts. Thank you to all of the doctors, nurses, friends and family who have supported us on this journey. It’s only the beginning but we know our lives are forever changed. – Sonam and Anand.”

Filmmaker Farah Khan and Neetu share the news, Sonam delivered a boy
Sharing the good news, both filmmaker Farah and Neetu took on their social media. However neither Sonam, Anand or Anil hadn’t shared any information. Both got married on May 18 in a traditional Anand Karaj and four years later they announced the news of arrival of their first child. Sonam shared some pictures on the social media in ethnic attire and wrote, “On the cusp of motherhood and at the brink of my birthday, I’m choosing to dress how I feel -Pregnant & Powerful, Bold & Beautiful…Thanks @abujanisandeepkhosla for draping women in outfits that bring out the most fierce and the most sensual parts of their femininity.”
Sonam Kapoor’s Upcoming Movie
On the work front Sonam next movie is Shone Makhija’s Blind. Movie stars Purab Kohli, Vinay Pathak and Lillete Dubey in prominent roles. The film is expected to release later this year.
