While customer dealing is a top priority in most service-based industries, most often it takes a back seat. Care and concern being the top priority, it is often overlooked, and needs are taken for granted. Many customers have complained about not being treated well; however they have fallen on flat ears. Even the concerned personnel have not bothered to answer their concerns and rectify them. Also, it is a perception that Bollywood stars receive the best treatment. However, it did seem to be the case after actor Siddharth alleged parents’ harassment at the Madurai airport. He recently penned an emotional account of the incidence.

Actor Siddharth alleged parents’ harassment at the Madurai airport. He gave an account of the incidence on the Instagram and captioned his post. Actor complained that his parents were harassed for more than 20 minutes at the Madurai airport. He alleged that his parents were harassed at the airport for 20 minutes. In spite of explaining them that they did not understand Hindi, the airport authorities kept talking to them in Hindi.
“The other day at Madurai airport… This is all I have to say about that. Moving on…”
His note read, “Thank you for all the concern and support sent our way. Since the Airport incident, I have been receiving many messages from people sharing their own experiences. I’ve also been contacted by several media houses. I felt it better to explain my experience here. I would rather throw light on the problem than myself. The unnecessary attention will only upset my family further. I have flown out of Madurai Airport dozens of times and I have never had even a moment of difficulty or discomfort in the past. I was travelling with my family this time. Three elders, two young children, and a few adults. The airport was empty and we went to clear security well before our boarding time. The security line was also empty and we were the only passengers going through at the time.”

Next, Siddharth alleged parents’ mistreatment and added his mother was made to remove loose change. He did not stop there and alleged that a child’s injections were scrutinized, and his medical condition discussed in public.
“One of the children has medical need syringes that were in a clearly marked med bag. My sister requested him to come and speak to her in private. Why was the curious gentleman asking for medical details of a sensitive nature across an open area. Is it fair to reveal people’s personal details like this?”

It was indeed shocking as actor Siddharth met with inappropriate incident at the hands of the airline staff.
“Harassed for 20 mins @ Madurai airport by CRPF. They made my senior parents remove coins from their bags! And repeatedly talked to us in Hindi after being told to speak in English.” He added, “Rude AF. When we protested, they said in India this is how it is. Jobless people showing off their power.”
Siddharth opened on the behaviour of the airport staff.
