Dancer and Actress Rakhi Sawant is known for numerous controversies. Be it airport, Personal life or even reality shows, her life is laden with disputes. She has often landed herself in legal trouble a number of times. There are reports that Rakhi Sawant and Sherlyn Chopra got into altercation. It all started after Rakhi Sawant made explosive remarks about Sherlyn. Following the episode, Sherlyn Chopra registered a complaint. She registered the case against the actress Rakhi Sawant and advocate Falguni Brahmbhatt. Sherlyn Chopra filed Complaint under multiple sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) & IT Act against Rakhi. War of Words triggered as Sherlyn Chopra Filed Complaint against Rakhi
No sooner did Rakhi comment, Sherlyn Chopra filed a complaint with police. Both slammed each other, and since then the whole war of words has extended into legal case. While Sherlyn Chopra filed complaint against Rakhi Sawant for passing shallow remarks. Sooner, Rakhi followed suit with a case for mocking her in front of the paparazzi recently. According to the reports of a popular news, Mumbai police informed that Sherlyn Chopra has alleged that both Rakhi and advocate had shown an objectionable video of her during a press conference along with objectionable language.
The FIR has been registered under sections 354A, 500, 504, and 509 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and IT ACT 67A.
Both Rakhi and her lawyer claimed that the case they have filed against Sherlyn “on the basis of evidence.”
