Sher Singh Rana Movie, a biopic on Sher Singh Rana is soon to hit the Cinema floors. Vinod Bhanushali, Kamlesh Bhanushali, Vishal Gurnani, Vishal Tyagi and Mohammed Imran Khan produced the film. Juhi Meta co-produced the film. The film will hit the floor under the banners of Bhanushali Studios Limited and Matargashti Films. The film is led by the actor Vidyut Jamwal, who plays the pivotal role of Sher Singh Rana. The movie is the first association of Vinod with the director Shree Narayan Singh. It reflects on the life of a man whose character is synonymous with contrasting adjectives like controversy, revenge and valour. The director is also popular for all time hit, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha.

Movie – Is the film Story Real?

It is an irony that not many people know about the legacy associated with the person’s name. Some of those who recall his name, associate him as a man who murdered Phoolan Devi. Also, he tried to escape Tihar Jail through notorious means and was captured again. After Phoolan Devi shot dead, 20 innocents in the Behnai Village to avenge her exploitation by a dacoit gang. Out of the 20 people killed, the 17 were the upper class Thakurs. Sher Singh Rana, a Tahkur youth shot Phoolan Devi to avengre the death of the Thakurs. The Rajputs rember him fondly as someone who avenged the massacre of Thakurs.

The man who bought remains of Maharaja Prithvi Raj Chauhan from Afghanistan 

Sher Singh Rana hit the headlines numerous times for all the notorious reasons. He was a rigid and headstrong Rajput. This Rajput garnered limelight for breaking out of the high-security Tihar Jail without any aggression. The man also showed bravery after he brought the ashes of the 11th century Indian ruler of Chauhan Dynasty, Prithviraj Chauhan from Afghanistan.

The Movie

The movie highlights the life of a proud Kshatriya who avenges the injustice met on his clan. Most of the people from his native village hold him in high esteem mainly for two events. Firstly bringing back the remains of the hindu emperor Prithviraj Chauhan from Afghanistan. Secondly the murder of Phoolan Devi (“Bandit Queen”). She is the one who murdered 20 innocent Kshatriya Thakurs without any reason. One cannot stop being in awe of a character who defied the Taliban to bring back the remains Prithvi Raj’s Mortal remains. As the suspense about the movie uncovers, the audience intrigues once they see the story on the big screen.
