Shamshera crashed at the box Office. In spite of the strong VFX and strong star cast, the movie just did not hold and failed miserably. The cast of Shamshera included Ranbir Kapoor in Double Roles, one as Shamshera and other as his son Balli. Besides Ranbir and Sanjay Dutt, the movie has Vaani Kapoor, Ronit Bose Roy and Saurabh Shukla in pivotal roles. Yaj Raj Films produced the film and Karan Malhotra is the director of the movie. Movie is set up in a fictious city of Kaza. Here a warrior tribe is enslaved, tortured, and imprisoned under ruthless authoritarian Shudh Singh. Shamshera, a young leader of the tribe relentlessly fights for the freedom of its people. The movie is shown in languages Hindi along with Tamil and Telugu language. Vaani Kapoor took to Instagram to announce release.
