Filmmakers recently hosted a special screening for Kajol starrer movie Salaam Venky at Mumbai. Bollywood’s much anticipated movie saw not only the presence of lead actors Kajol and Vishal Jethwa, but other celebrities joined for support.
Kajol is one of Bollywood’s most talented actresses and her numerous successes are a proof of that. Her performances have produced some of the Bollywood Blockbusters, including the ever-famous Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Tanaji, and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai to name a few. Currently, the actress is again in the news with her upcoming movie Salaam Venky. Filmmakers recently hosted Salaam Venky’s special screening.
The recent conducted screening saw the presence of Aamir Khan, who has a cameo in the movie, Tanisha Mukerji, Aahana Kumra, and more arrived to show support as well. Here is the song, ‘ Jo Tum Saath Ho’ from the movie.
As usual, the actress looked compelling in her role as a mother whose son has been diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy. So far, the teaser again showcased the actress’s amazing acting prowess. Revathi has directed the drama and Suraj Singh, Shraddha Agrawal, Blive Productions and RTake Studios have produced the movie respectively.
Celebrities attend Salaam Venky’s Special screening, Bollywood shows support
Celebrities Aamir khan, who is also playing a cameo in the movie, Former Cricketer Yuvraj Singh and others arrived at Salaam Venky’s special screening. While Aamir Khan, who incidentally is doing a cameo in the movie looked dapper in blue jeans and denim jacket, former cricketer Yuvraj Singh wore classic denim jeans and black tee combo. He posed for pics before heading on for the screening. Lead actress looked gorgeous red and grey saree. She complimented the ethnic look with a matching shawl and a messy hair bun. Keeping her accessories, a bare minimum, she just added a statement choker.
Salaam Venky Details
Salman Venky is based on the book, ‘The Last Hurrah by Shrikant Murthy’. South Indian Actress Revathy has directed the movie, and the movie revolves around the life of Sujata. In the movie, she does everything she can to take care of her ill son and help him live his life to the fullest. The film has been directed by Revathi and stars Kajol in the lead with Vishal Jethwa playing the role of her son, Venky.
