Raju Srivastav’s family organized a prayer meet in memory of the actor at ISKCON, Juhu. The late actor’s comedian colleagues and other celebrities were in attention. Johnny Lever, Kapil Sharma, Bharti Singh with husband Haarsh Limbachyaa, Kay Kay Menon, Kiku Sharda, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah fame Shailesh Lodha, Sunil Pal, Sugandha Mishra with husband Sanket Bhosale and others were all a part of Raju Srivastava’s prayer meet. Comedian and Actor Raju Srivastava passed away on September 21 after a battle in the ICU at AIIMS. He had collapsed while working out on the treadmill. She revealed that everything was finished.

Bollywood actors attend Raju Srivastava’s Prayer meet

Raju’s co-participants of the Laughter Challenge show Kapil Sharma, Bharti Singh, comedians and other actors attended the prayer meet. Both Kapil and Bharti had tears and were emotional. Kapil held Bharti’s shoulder as he walked her to her car. Also, actor Sunil Pal and Tarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashma fame also paid their respects. Neil Nitin Mukesh, and Gurmeet Choudhary also showed at the meet. Movie comedian spoke about his feelings for the comedian.

“Raju’s struggle days started with me. We have family relations, and we are neighbours as well. SO, you can imagine how much grief I am in. We have lost a great artist, he would have made people laugh for many more years, but he suddenly died. It’s a huge loss for stand-up comedy.”

Comedian Raju Srivastava was cremated at Delhi, Bollywood Colleagues offer tributes

Comedian was cremated at the Delhi’s Nigambodh Ghat on September 22 as per Hindu rituals. His Bollywood peers Sunil Pal and Ahsaan Qureshi, director Madhur Bhandarkar and singer Ram Shankar paid him tribute at his funeral.
