Since her last guest appearance in Shah Rukh and Anushka’s starrer Jab Tak Hai Jain, Neetu Kapoor has been in hiatus. Busy with her family life with Rishi Kapoor she hasn’t signed any movies until now. She admits being busy attending to her husband battling with cancer. After his passing away she went into depression. Recently she acted as a judge in ‘Dance Deewane Juniors’, where she seemed to have a great time with the other judges and contestants. During one of the shows Neetu remembers Rishi Kapoor and says that seeing her acting again would have made him happy.

Neetu recently made a comeback with the family drama movie ‘Jugg Jugg Jiyo’ . The movie also stars Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani in the lead roles. Recently the movie trailer got released to a roaring applause from the public. However, some people accused Karan Johar of copying the movie ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham’. Yesteryear actress recalled her return to the movies . She got emotional remembering her husband and said that Rishi would have been very happy on the occasion. The actress said that loss of Rishi Kapoor was too emotional, however the industry helped her cope up with.

Neetu shares her wedding picture, says she is starting journey with her husband’s blessings

Neetu admitted that coming back to movies helped her cope up with her loss. Not only did she heal but also kept her occupied to people close to the industry. Sharing her wedding picture from the year 1980, the actress said everything changed after that, “I am starting this new journey…with your blessings Rishi ji. With you in my heart, always.” – she wrote.
