Mahesh Babu refuses Bollywood, Says it can’t Afford him
Mahesh Babu is one of South India’s most popular stars. Tollywood’s much-loved actor during the trailer launch of Advi Sesh’s movie answered questions about acting in Bollywood movies. Mahesh Babu refuses Bollywood because it can’t afford him. The actor remarked that Bollywood can’t afford him and it would be thus waste of his time. Mahesh is currently awaiting for the trailer launch of Advi Sesh’s Major, Besides Major, the actor is waiting for the release of Sarkaru Vaari Paata.The movie is directed by Parasuram Petla, and the film will release in theatres on May 12.
No interest in Bollywood, only want to act in Telugu cinema
Mahesh is one of Telugu cinema’s biggest stars. Besides, he has a massive fan following and has tremendous success of his films, Businessman, Srimanthudu, Bharat Ane Nenu, Maharshi, and Sarileru Neekevvaru. In spite of the actors Pan India appeal, he mentioned that his aim was to make movies from South a massive success. During the launch he mentioned that his sole focus was to do Telugu films and wanted whole India watches them. Additionally he said that his strength is Telugu and the only thing he understood is Telugu Film emotion.
‘Bollywood can’t afford me’, the actor says.
The Telugu 46-year-old actor admitted that he received several offers from the Hindi film industry, but he doesn’t feel the need to move over. Even though he did get offers in Hindi, he felt it was a waste of his time. ” In Telugu Cinema, people consider him a star, and he shall always do films here. Also , he shared his belief that success of South Indian movies like RRR and KGF2 pan India is a proof. Seeing them becoming successful was his dream which turned into reality and made him happy, he added.
Mahesh Babu refuses Bollywood, No plans on OTT either
Also when asked about any intention to venture into OTT platforms, the actor clearly refused. He answered his movies only came on big screens and he doesn’t intend to eneter into digital space. Additionally he admitted getting offers from Bollywood. However, he smilingly rejected the offer saying couldn’t afford him. Besides, he gets so much respect here that he never thought of leaving and going somewhere else.

Mahesh Babu last acted in 2020 movie Sarileru Neekevvaru. Other movies of the actor are director Parasuram Petla’s Sarkaru Vaari Petla and a SS Rajamoulli directed adventure thriller.
