Madhavan’s long-awaited movie, Rocketry: The Nambi Effect is about to hit the theatres soon. Movie is based on the real-life story of ISRO scientist, Nambi Narayan. Madhavan plays the role of the scientist who worked for the Indian Space Research organization. The brain behind Vikas Engine used in the first PSLV that India launched, was falsely accused of espionage. He pleaded non-guilty as the Supreme Court of India exonerated him from all the charges levied against him. Recently Suriya, one of the stars visited the sets of Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, where he met his good friend Maddy. Madhavan’s transformation surprises Surya who was amazed at how his friend had filled the role so beautifully. The actor’s long-awaited movie is all set to release on July 1st in multiple languages, Hindi, Tamil, and English.
At the Cannes Festival, Rocketry’s premier got roaring applause. When Madhavan and the former scientist Nambi Narayanan took the stage, the crowd greeted them with a standing ovation for more than 10 minutes. Madhavan is one of the few Indian stars having a PAN Indian appeal and there is no doubt that his getup as the scientist is completely jaw-dropping. the actor as reel Nambi and the real Nambi look so much alike.

Suriya, one of the Rocketry actors was in for a treat when he visited Madhavan on the sets of Rocketry. Nambi reciprocated that he respected him as an actor and also referred to his father as n all-time great. Surya is playing the same role that Shah Rukh Khan plays in the Hindi version. Rocketry’s story begins with both interviewing the scientist who is accused and convicted of treason. The movie is about Nambi’s long legal battle to prove his innocence.

Madhavan’s ‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’ has Simran playing the role of Meena Narayanan, Sam CS scoring the music, Sirsha Ray handling the Camera, and Brijith Bala the editing. Madhavan and his wife Sarita, Varghese Moolan, and Vijay Moolan have produced the movie.
