Kerala High Court Stay Order in Sunny Leone’s Cheating case

Kerala High Court on Wednesday stayed further proceedings in lieu of the breach of the contract. Crime Branch Wing of the state police had registered the case against the actress.


After actress Sunny Leone filed a plea to quash the FIR filed against her, Justice Ziyad Rahman stayed the proceedings. Well, we are talking about the Sunny Leone’s Cheating case, where the actress was accused of breaching the terms of contract. The Ragini MMS 2 actress had entered into a contract with a firm for stage performance in Kozhikode four years ago. Actress in her plea rejected all the allegations against her, her husband and their employee. She contended that the charges do not come under the ingredients of the alleged offences. Additionally, the actress claimed that all of them have never committed any crime till date. She also laid down in her plea that she had to suffer lost and subjected to a long-drawn process of trial.

Sunny Leone’s Cheating Case: Actress reveals no evidence has been found

Shiyas Kunjumohammed, a coordinator of the programme, from Ernakulam district has alleged that Sunny Leone, her husband and employees breached the contract. Kunjumohammed, in his complaint has sued Leone and party that the latter breached the terms and conditions of the contract despite the receiving of Rs 39 Lakhs. As a part of the contract, Sunny Leone was due to perform at stage shows in both Kerala and abroad. So far, the Justice has stayed the case after Sunny filed a plea claiming no authentic evidence is found. Case was registered on the complaint form and Police are probing the matter.

Recently Sunny Leone’s name came into forefront when one of the admit cards showed the actress’s bold picture. It happened during the Karnataka TET exam.
