The director Shailash Kolanu revealed why he cast Rajkumar Rao in the movie

RajKummar Rao’s movie Hit: The First Case is set to release in the theatres on July 15. The movie is a remake of the Telugu action thriller. Debutant Sailesh Kolanu had directed the movie and Prashanti Tipirneni produced it.

The Telugu movie had starred Vishwak Sen and Ruhani Sharma. And now the same movie is gearing up for release on July 15, Rajkumar Rao shall take up the role of Vishwak Sen. For the hindi movie remake, Sailesh chose Rajkumar Rao. The story of the movie follows the investigation of a missing girl. In the Telugu version Vikram Rudraraju (Sen), a police officer of the Telangana’s state Homicide Intervention Team (HIT) heads the investigation Rao shall enact the same role opposite Sanya Malhotra.

Multitalented actor Rajkumar Rao opened up on his role . As an actor, it is the desire to do diverse roles and work with big studios and makers and new director. He also added that content and story were most important. He also revealed doing movie Bheed and Monica, O My Darling. Anubhav Sinha produced the movie. Bheed stars Bhumi Pednekar and Pankaj Kapur in pivotal roles. My character is different. It’s a social drama and is a very engaging story. It’s too early for me to reveal anything much about Bheed. Bheed is Rajkumar’s first movie with Anubhav. When asked why he chose him, he asked to find out from the producer itself. However he mentioned the great time he had working with him.
