Bollywood actress Genelia Deshmukh has been away from the Bollywood for more than a decade. Recently she announced her comeback with the movie ‘ Ved’.
Genelia Deshmukh, hasn’t acted in any movies for more than a decade now. Although she keeps showing up along with her husband on some of the shows. Although, she had a cameo appearance earlier in movies like ‘Jai Ho’, ‘Force 2’ and ‘It’s My Life’, however she hasn’t been in movie as a lead. And after a decade Genelia’s movie comeback is happening soon. Recently, the actress dropped the first look of the movie, which was titled ‘Ved’. Her husband Ritesh Deshmukh is directing the movie.
After a decade Genelia’s comeback movie is set for December release
Genelia recently took to social media to share the first look of her movie. She last acted in Mandeep Kumar’s movie ‘Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya’, released in 2012. Additionally, she shared a long caption in Marathi (Regional Language of Maharashtra). Here is a glimpse of the common post that both shared.

Ritesh too shared the post mentioning Genelia’s movie comeback
Genelia’s husband and actor Ritesh Deshmukh also took to the social platform to share the news with his fans. His post read the following.

Genelia and Ritesh’s Upcoming movies
Genelia’s started her career in Bollywood with Tujhe Meri Kasam. She was last seen in director Mandeep Kumar’s Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya. Ritesh was last seen in the Netflix film ‘Plan A and Plan B’.
‘Ved’ will hit the theatres on the 30th of December. Also, Genelia turned producer for her husband ‘s Marathi movie Mauli where she also had a cameo appearance. Besides Ved, she will also appear alongside Riteish in Bhushan Kumar’s Mister Mummy. She also makes a comeback to the South industry after 10 years with a Telugu-Kannada bilingual, film Production No.15.
