Nick and Priyanka’s daughter Malti Marie Jonas was hospitalized for over two months
Nick and Priyanka got blessed with a baby daughter this year in January. Even before marriage Priyanka had long expressed the desire of becoming a mother. Priyanka had said long before she wanted to have a baby. However, she chose surrogacy as a method as she felt that her age might hinder the process of conception and delivery. For the unknown Surrogacy is an arrangement, made between two parties, whereby a woman agrees to bear a child for another person who becomes the child’s parent after birth. Mostly the people whose pregnancy is impossible or the medical risks are high opted for this option. Although the news of her name ‘Malti Marie Jonas’ became public, but everyone wished to see her glimpse. with Daughter’s Hospitalization News shared, Nick added that the baby is back home and is a joy everyday.
Nick discloses daughter’s hospitalization news, says baby was born prematurely
Recently Nick opened up on the news of their daughter Malti’s 100-day stay in the NICU(Neonatal Intensive Care Unit). Nick revealed that Malti’s stay at the hospital was one of the toughest periods as they anxiously waited each day for their daughter to come home. The baby girl was born prematurely. Daughter’s Hospitalization News shared, Nick expressed gratitude to hospital’s staff
Nick appeared in a joint interview with his brothers Kevin and Joe Jonas. Expressing his gratitude to everyone who contributed towards the well being of his daughter, Nick revealed, “I think that what we shared on social media was just kinda the feeling that we had, the gratitude obviously to have our baby home. But also for each and every person that was part of her journey while in the hospital. It’s eye-opening in a lot of ways.”
Nick also expressed his gratitude to fans and wife Priyanka for being a support
It hasn’t been easy for Priyanka or Nick . Disclosing the news of daughter’s hospitalization, he said that it was his duty to thank everyone who contributed in their daughter’s well-being. Additionally he asked the people to stay strong “And I think it was really important for us to just share that. And make sure that people know that whatever their journey is, whether it’s something like we went through or diabetes or whatever challenges might come up, you’re not alone. And grateful to have a teammate in Pri who was a rock the whole time and continues to be,” he further added.

Priyanka’s upcoming projects include Citadel, Text For You and a Bollywood film titled Je Le Zaraa, starring Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif.
