Ranbir-Alia starrer Brahmastra continues its high during the second week too. If the reports are to be believed, the movie collected Rs 15.25-16.25 crores on Saturday.
Ayan Mukherji’s Brahmastra has been making waves ever since the teaser got released on the social media. Also, the Ranbir-Alia movie Brahmastra is also going strong in the second weekend too. Brahmastra continued to rise and collected Rs 15.25-16.25 crore on Saturday. This was a 55 per cent jump from the previous day. The movie’s overall revenue stands at about Rs 197 crores and shall soon touch the 200-crore mark. Movie so far has beaten Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi starring Akshay Kumar-Katrina Kaif to become the second highest grossing film in the pandemic.
Audience continues to throng theatres as Brahmastra continued its rise
If reports are true, then both Saturday and Sunday delivered equally. It’s been 10 days since Brahmastra’s release and the movie has crossed an impressive Rs 215 crore. The way the audience is pulled to the theatres, it won’t be long that it shall become the highest grossing movies of pandemic times. On Friday, the makers announced that the film has already crossed Rs 300 crore collection worldwide. Besides Ranbir and Alia, the movie features Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Mouni Roy, Nagarujana, among others. Brahmastra story revolves around the sstory of Shiva, a DJ, who sets out on a journey with his love interest Isha (Alia) to unearth the origins of his special powers and discovers his connection to a secret community called Brahmansh, led by Guruji (Amitabh Bachchan).
Brahmastra continued to rise, collected mainly from Hindi version
Of the Rs197.25 crore, Brahmastra has collected Rs 177 crore in Hindi, with Rs 20.25 crore having come from the dubbed version in multiple south Indian languages. The Bollywood Hungama report suggests that the trend over the second weekend has ensured Brahmastra gaining the hit verdict.
