Bhool Bhulaiyaa and Dhaakad to release today
Although the theatres have long opened since the pandemic, only two movies created ripples at the box office. Out of the movies released in 2022, only two movies The Kashmir Files and Gangubai Kathiawadi made profit at the box office. Kartik Aryan and Kiara Advani’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa2 and Dhaakad are expected to turn the tide in 2022. So far both the trailer and the title music of Bhool Bhilaiyaa 2 has hit with the public. Similarly Kangana’s Dhaakad is expected to hit the theatres on May 20th. Soham Rockstar Entertainment has presented the movie and Deepak Mukut , Sohel Maklai and Hunar Mukut produced and co-produced the movie respectively. Besides the lead star Kangana, the movie also has Arjun Rampal and Divya Dutta.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Dhaakad set for release, audience eagerly awaits
Both Bhool Bhulaiyaa2 and Dhaakad are releasing this week. They have a huge responsibility on their shoulders to bring back the crowd. It could not be a better time to release two movies that cater to different genres. While Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is a supernatural comedy, Dhaakad is an espionage action thriller. While the former is a family entertainer, the latter is mass entertainer. Consequently both movies shall pull crowd in big numbers.
How Bhool Bhulaiyaa sequel and Dhaakad are expected to fair?

Kartik and Kiara’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is a sequel to Akshay and Vidya’s 2007 film Bhool Bhulaiyaa. Aneez Bazmee is making the sequel and is hoped to create the same magic . Some Comparisons with the original movie will happen, however there has been more than 15 years. Since then there has been a shift in the audience coming for the movies. The comparisons are obvious, but people shall judge the movie based on its entertainment value and qualities. Also the movie has a good advance booking and is expected to have a great first day opening. Also since it is an Anees Bazmee film, the audience are assured of full entertainment.
Dhaakad
Another release this Friday is Kangana’s Thriller Dhaakad. Since the mega success of action thriller like KGF and RRR, Dhaakad makers are sure that movie shall make news. Girish Johar was equally excited about the movie’s release and posted with a caption along with release date,” Let the fireworksbegin”.
Dhaakad expected to do well in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities
Since the movie is a true mass entertainer, it is expected to do well in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. Also the movie shall have more current bookings looking at demographics.

Shall KGF2 crash the revenue of Bhool Bhulaiyaa part 2 and Dhaakad?
With KGF 2 still running strong at the box office, one serious question arises? Can these movies survive against the audience love of the movie. But, with KGF 2 doing well every weekend, the question remains the same as was there since last six weeks. Will Dhaakad and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 survive the craze around the Yash film?To this there is just a simple answer. It all depends on what the movie is against. After Jayeshbhai Jordaar failed at the box office, the audience moved to KGF 2. So if both Dhaakad and Bhool Bhulaiyaa2 are not good, KGF 2 will once again earn money.
