‘Anek’ ‘Top Gun’ ‘Bhool Bhulayiaa 2’ compete with each other at the box office
Ayushmann Khurrana’s political thriller Anek and Tom Cruise’s Top Gun:Maverick are competing against Kartik Aryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Thus with so many choices for the cine goers we have to see how the three fare against each other. Tom Cruise is all set to recreate the same magic as its predecessor in Top Gun. Although all the three movies goes This weekend, moviegoers have two options to pick from at the cinema. While Ayushmann Khurrana returns to the theatres with Anek, directed by Anubhav Sinha, Tom Cruise is all set to take fans on a nostalgic ride with Top Gun: Maverick. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is running strong till now, however analysts believe that the other two movies Anek and Tom Gun: Maverick have a different audience and thus shall see a strong opening as well. Anek’s Teaser and Trailer have created a buzz so far
According to a producer , the public is actually looking forward to the movie since it is the second movie of Ayushmann after Artcle 15. Article 15 was a massive hit among the audience as they gave it great reviews. Besides the audience, the critics also gave the movie also got a decent response. So far the actor has been on a roll with his Romcom ‘Chandigarh Kare Ashiqui’ doing fairly well at the Box office also. On the other hand Sinha’s movies Aricle 15 and Thappad received wide applause . There is more excitement of the duo teaming up again and the movie is likely to gain strength through word of mouth rather than a first day massive opening.
Top Gun’s Indian Fan base can give it a good opening
Top Gun: Maverick is running on the shoulders of the Tom Cruise aura. For the fans the movie has an emotional connect since the release of the Top Gun three decades back. Thus the presence of the actor in the movie shall definetly draw the public into the theatres once again. When someone asked Johar about Top Gun: Maverick’s Indian box office predictions he agreed to the fact that both movie and the actor have great past remembrances . And that is why the movie will work. Also the word of mouth about the Hollywood movies is very strong. Top Gun’s Sequel is believed to make a decent opening combining all languages.
Bhool Bhulayiaa 2 still expected a decent run in spite of Anek and Top Gun release
Kartik Aryan Bhool Bhulayiaa 2 is expected to enjoy same success as before in spite of thge release of both movies. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has struck a chord with the public and is expected to continue the same way. Kartik and Kiara’s horror comedy has been the best hit of the year with an impressive opening of Rs 56 crore. Although the movie slid a little this week, but is expected to soar on the weekend with good numbers. And as for Anek and Tom Cruise Top Gun, those shall fair well too.
