Alia Bhatt made it obvious that she wasn’t taking any nonsense regarding her personal life. Slamming the media who reported earlier that Ranbir is planning to travel to the UK to bring his wife home. Answering them sternly the Brahmastra’s lead heroine said, “I’m a woman, not a parcel.” Various media reported that Alia would be taking rest after her work commitments to focus on her pregnancy. For the unversed, Alia had posted her Sonography picture on Instagram informing us about the news of their baby arriving soon. She shared a note on her Insta stories, where she lambasted the articles that her husband actor Ranbir Kapoor, will be traveling to the UK, to bring her back home. Alia is currently shooting for her Hollywood debut film,” Heart Of Stone.” Also, Alia slammed the media for spreading unnecessary rumors about Ranbir coming to pick her up.

Clarifying it on her Insta stories, she requested people to come out of the outdated concept. She said, “Nothing has gotten delayed! No one needs to PICK anyone up. I’m a woman, not a parcel. I do not need to REST at all but good to know you’ll have a doctor’s certification as well.” Additionally, Alia posted a screenshot of a news portal’s Instagram page which says that she had pre-planned her pregnancy in a way that it doesn’t affect her work. “This is 2022. Can we pls get out of this archaic way of thinking! Now if you would excuse me… My shot is ready,” the 29-year-old actor added.

Alia’s fans were buzzing with excitement on hearing the news of her pregnancy. Sharing the news on her Insta account, the Gangubai lead captioned,” Our Baby…….coming soon.” She added heart emojis. The fans and family members showered the couple with congratulatory messages. In a separate message, Alia said she was overwhelmed with all the love.
