The State Bank of India released notification for the recruitments of Clerks on its official site. There will be two parts in which the exam shall be conducted, the Preliminary and the Mains. Age Limit for Clerical Exam

In order to appear for the SBI Clerk 2022 exam’s minimum age of the candidate should be 20 years old and maximum should be not more than 28 years old, i.e., candidates must be born not earlier than 02.08.1994 and not later than 01.08.2002 (both days inclusive). Additionally, there is age relaxation with respect to category.

Age Relaxation

  1. 8 years for disabled Ex-servicemen belonging to SC/ST < 50 years.
  2. Widows, Divorced, Women (No Married) 7 years (subject to the maximum age limit of 35 years for General/EWS, 38 years for OBC & 40 years for SC/ST candidates)
  3. Cumulative age relaxation is not available under the above items or in combination with any items.

How to Apply

  1. Visit the official website of SBI.
  2. Register using your credentials.
  3. After successful registration, you shall receive a
  4. Enter your respective credentials for the registration process.
  5. After successful registration, you will be given a provisional registration number and password generated by the system. You are advised to save these details for further use.
  6. Read the guidelines given carefully and Upload scanned photograph and signature.
  7. Click Submit.
  8. Add relevant details such as personal and educational.
  9. Click on the preview tab to verify the entire application before submitting it finally.
  10. Click on the final submit button and click on the payment tab to proceed with payment.
  11. Pay the application fee, following which you shall receive a mail or message on the registered email ID/phone number.
  12. Save the application form or take a printout for future reference.

SBI Clerk Nationality

In order to be considered for the State Bank of India Exam 2022 the candidate should be either of the following:

  1. Indian Citizen
  2. Subject of Nepal or Bhutan
  3. Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement
  4. A Person of Indian Origin (PIO) who has migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam or East African countries of Zaire, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, Malawi, with the intention of permanent settlement in India
  5. Candidates belonging to the category 2, 3, 4 must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Govt of India in their favour.

Educational Qualification Eligibility

The candidate appearing for the exam should have the following qualifications as on November 30th, 2022.

  1. Vaid degree in any discipline from a recognized University.
  2. Candidates who have an integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is prior to the exam. Those who are in the final year/semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if provisionally selected, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination.
  3. Matriculate Ex-servicemen, who have obtained the Indian Army Special Certificate of Education or corresponding certificate in the Navy or Air Force, after having completed not less than 15 years of service in the Armed Forces of the Union are also eligible for the post.
  4. Computer Knowledge: Understanding of computer operation is required for the SBI Clerk exam as the exam is conducted online.

2. The initial salary package of an SBI Clerk in a Metro city like Mumbai has been revised to Rs 29000/- per month that including the Dearness Allowance (D.A) & other allowances.

A candidate will be serving a period of 6 months on probation.
Further, the performance of the newly recruited employees will be evaluated before the probation period comes to an end and the probation period of those employees whose performance does not meet the expectation may be extended.

4. SBI Clerk 2022 Exam ResultSBI shall conduct each level of exam i.e prelims and Mains. While the results of Prelims will be declared for all students who appeared for the first stage. However, the results of the Mains shall be limited to the candidates of the Prelims only.
