CRPF SI Exam 2023 shall be conducted in 4 stages. Selection Process includes Physical Standard Or Physical Efficiency Test (PST/PET), Written Examination, Trade/Skill Test and lastly Medical Examination. The article discusses in detail the various sections the Examination.

Stages of CRPF SI Exam 2023
Selection process of SI Exam consists of four stages, and all the four are mandatory to qualify for the exam. We shall discuss in detail all the four stages in detail. Also, in each stage we shall go through its requirements and expectations.
Stage 1: Physical Standard Test (PST)/ Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
PST/PET is the first of the 4 stages of the selection process of the CRPF SI Exam 2023. Also, candidates should note that it is mandatory for them to pass all the four examinations. Here are some of the highlights of the PST/PET.
- Issuing Admit cards and the test shall only be conducted at a designated center.
- Identification and screening of candidates for Physical standards Height and Weight measurements.
Please note that the candidates who do not match the above criteria will be disqualified. However, there is no qualifying marks for this stage.
Stage 2: Written Examination
Only the candidates who qualified the Physical Examination shall be allowed to sit for the written examination. The written examination shall be of 2 parts of 50 marks each for 2 hours. Examination shall have Objective type questions and the level shall be up to Class 12th. Besides, the organization shall set a cut-off that every candidate is required to clear.
Stage 3: Trade/Skill Test and Document Screening
After one has cleared the written test, he shall have to pass a Trade Test separately for further processing. The tests includes the following three parts.
- Practical test
- Knowledge of equipment
- Work experience
Additionally, the screening of the documents is done at the time of the trade Test. Cut-Off will be declared which the candidate needs to achieve for selection.
Stage 4: Medical Examination
Last but not the least the candidates have to pass the medical standards as set by the organization. Following the examination, the candidates are declared FIT or UNFIT.
