RRR breaks records, becomes the highest earning post pandemic
SS Rajamouli directed ‘RRR’ has caused a storm at the box office. It is raining money for the Tollywood actors. RRR’s Hindi version became the highest earning post pandemic movie. Still in its fourth day, the movie reaped close to 250 crores breaking the record. Also the movie ‘RRR’ (Hindi) beat the lifetime collection of ‘The Kashmir Files’, which had earned Rs 242 crore during its theatrical run. Both ‘RRR’ and ‘KGF 2‘ are competing with each other for the top spot. With the latter looking strong it could easily take over RRR in a couple of days.

RRR’s story revolves around the search of a tribal girl who was abducted by few British soldiers. The movie opens in where the tribe’s leader Komaram Bheem (Played by Jr NTR) starts the search. Alluri Sitarama Raju (Ram Charan) is a British police officer who gets information about Bheem’s mission and his plan to murder the governor. He takes it on himself to kill Bheem. However unexpected, the sworn enemies become great friends. Together they fight off the British Raj and the Nizam of Hyderabad.
