Alert! Skip episode 1 and start the series from episode 2 if you truly want to save your time.
We are living in are where we all have a super short attention span but a TV series like Hospital Playlist is so special that you will remember every episode. It’s a series set in the hospital where a group of doctors share the same passion for music. It’s a medical-musical drama with a soul of its own.
It is a story of doctors who have been friends from their medical school days. The camaraderie that they enjoyed as students has stayed even after they graduated and started working as doctors in the same hospital. They laugh and cry with each other, they find reasons to smile amidst great despair and they support each other in their darkest hours. Most importantly – they find time to relax through their jam sessions.
There are two seasons and each is well crafted creatively as well as technically.
The second season is more nuanced.
A kind paediatric surgeon Ain Jeong-won (Yoo Yeon-seok) admits his feelings for resident Jang Gyeo-ul (Shin Hyun-bin), a maverick transplant specialist Lee Ik-jun (Jo Jung-suk) made a proposition to his best friend and brilliant neurosurgeon Chae Song-hwa (Jeon Mi-do), while tsundere cardiothoracic surgeon Kim Jun-wan (Jung Kyung-ho) drifts towards his secret girlfriend, Ik-jun’s sister Ik-sun (Kwak Sun-young). A tough looking gynaecologist Yang Seok-hyeong (Kim Dae-myung), struggles to make the right choice in her professional life.
