Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan and Pushpa fame actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu will be pairing in a series called Citadel. Citadel planned for November shoot is an Indian adaptation of the American show ‘Russo Brothers’. The show is set to be shown on Prime Video. According to some sources, Citadel is set in the 90’s and has two timelines which are early and late 90’s. According to the news, Samantha is working on improving her Hindi with a dialect coach. Both the actors shall begin workshops for the Prime Video series by early November.

Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu star in the series that is coming on Prime Video. In the series special look is planned for the duo. Although makers of Citadel planned November shoot or even early december, it depends on how the actor’s availability allows. For instance, Varun wraps up the promotions of Bhediya and Samantha completes her commitments.
On the other hand, Russo Brothers is coming out with Citadel featuring Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Richard Madden which will premiere in 2023. Citadel is getting adapted in various countries like India, Mexico and Italy. Consequently, they are referred to as Citadel India, Citadel Mexico, Citadel Italy and more. The Indian version of the series is planned by 2023. Duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK are directing the series.
