Ram Setu Controversy: BJP MP Subramanian Swamy’s legal notice

BJP MP Subramanian Swamy issued Legal notice to Akshay Kumar for allegedly distorting the movie Ram Setu. He wrote on Twitter that he sent the actor and 8 others legal notice.

There is a lot at stake already on Bollywood’s image. Starting from the trending #BoycottBollywood to the celebrities being attacked left, right and center. Amidst all the uproar, Ram Setu controversy erupted involving the Khiladi Kumar. The whole altercation erupted when the adventure drama centres on an Archaeologist whether the whole concept of Ram Setu is a myth or reality. Accusing the Mumbai Cinema ‘falsifying and misappropriation’ and confirmed that he has issued a ‘Legal Notice to Cine Actor Akshay Kumar(Bhatia) and his 8 others for distorting Ram Setu saga’.

He took to his official Twitter account and wrote, “Mumbai cinema [or is it sin-e-ma] wallas have a bad habit of falsifying and misappropriation. Hence to teach them Intellectual Property Rights, I have through Satya Sabharwal Adv issued Legal Notice to Cine Actor Akshay Kumar(Bhatia) and his 8 others for distorting Ram Setu saga. “

Underrepresentation of Ram Setu created controversy

BJP leader Subramanian Swamy accused Akshay Kumar and the producers of undermining the portrayal of Ram Setu. He tweeted a few days back, “The suit for compensation has been finalised by my associate Satya Sabharwal Adv. I am suing Akshay Kumar, actor & Karma Media for damages cause by falsification in portrayal of the Ram Setu issue in their film for release.”On the work front, Akshay was last seen in Raksha Bandhan, which didn’t perform well at the box office. He also faced criticism for the movie. The actor now has a couple of other movies in hand other than Ram Setu. His upcoming films include Mission Cinderella and OMG2.
